Program

Arise Church in Sheboygan Wisconsin was looking for a new 'church' home that felt relational and right for their Church family. They purchased a building that was previously an insurance call center - however if you look back at the previous owners and program of this building, you will find a lengthy past of grocery stores, processing facility and other misc. occupancies.

Risepointe was directed by Arise to craft an intimate, but relational space for their Church. Their program included lobby, fellowship hall, guest connection, and ministry space. The program also includes a new worship space located in what was previously the cubicle hall in for the previous building owner.

We were challenged through design by the intricate existing design and faced with the challenge of creating large fellowship spaces that felt intentional and yet not clunky or hampered by some of the language of the old remains of walk in coolers and display cabinets.

This project is currently under construction and is planned to be finished before the end of the year 2021.
