King's Cross is a New, multi-ethnic church plant in downtown Greensboro NC.
When they set out to find a permanent facility they weren't sure how God would provide.
After talking with a smaller church that had an available facility, the decision was made to absorb the other church and renovate their building.
We know that over time the way we do ministry changes, and there were lots of remnants of old that needed to be updated in order for the building to match the DNA of Kings Cross. A Large fellowship area and sunday school classrooms needed to be turned into a lobby, a large bank of classrooms on the 2nd floor needed to be opened up into a vibrant kids area, and the pews needed to be removed and the sanctuary remodeled. Signage, combined with some minor exterior improvements will complete phase 1 for Kings Cross and allow them to grow into the new space over time.
