Kenosha, WI
Montclair Tabernacle is a spirit-filled congregation located in historic Prince William County in Virginia, some 30 miles south of Washington, D.C.

The leadership of Montclair Tabernacle engaged Risepointe to evaluate expansion options for their increasingly cramped facility. The decades-old building had served them well, but their ministries had outgrown the available space. Through the Needs Analysis process, Risepointe and church leaders discovered an economical way to expand the facility, focusing on the worship center and children’s ministry.

The designed addition and renovation adds 4,000 square feet of new space at the front of the building, establishing a new, fresh aesthetic and providing bright, engaging spaces. A new lobby announces itself to the street via transparency and gathering venues. A new education wing provides indoor and outdoor spaces for teaching and exploration.

The 8,000 square foot renovation includes an expansion to the sanctuary on the main level, and the inclusion of a previously unused balcony. A new youth room provides social and educational space for teenagers, connecting them as well to outdoor amenities. Finally, expanded office space provides an updated hub for church staff and leaders.
