Encounter Church is a young plant in the heart of Kentwood MI that is reaching young professionals for Christ in their area.

As they prayed about their future, God introduced them to another church with a historic and well-maintained facility, that needed new leadership and direction if they were going to continue being a light for the Gospel in Grand Rapids.

After legally welcoming the new church into the Encounter family, the challenge was how to refresh and revitalize the historic church, keep the youthful DNA of encounter, and still respect the architecture that we couldn't afford to change.

Risepointe partnered with Dan Vos Construction and with Amplio Systems on the AV for this project.

It always great to see new life and a refresh brought in to an old facility. We love seeing old churches re-deployed for further Gospel Impact.
